British Teachers Blame Video Games For Rise in 'Hitting, Hurting and Thumping'

This week’s dose of anti-video game vitriol comes straight outta Great Britain, where a group called the Association of Teachers and Lecturers says electronic entertainment is making kids violent. As Telegraph reports: Alison Sherratt, former president of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers, says growing access to “horrific” games is responsible for an increase in the amount of aggressive behaviour in school playgrounds. “acting out quite graphic scenes”, including a rise in “hitting, hurting and thumping”.
